Re: [Flexradio] Unusual Issue
Man I am all out of Deoxit .. I am replying this to the list as well, as that makes 3 of us with this issue. I guess Tim has been unable to recreate it in the Flex shop. I am going to do a complete fresh install of PSDR and see if it still does it. If it does I will do a Screen capture Video for Tim to look at so he has a full understanding of what it is doing. Craig, Yes, these type of obnoxious comments are common on this list. Sad. Re: [Flexradio] Unusual Issue
I second your motion, Lee. I've not had ANY of the problems described here (TBTG!) and I use my system for internet and some heavy floating-point processing, usually with PSDR running in the background. OK, I've been lucky. But what concerns me a bit is that problems that clearly are the consequence of Windows are described as though they were faults in PSDR. That's what we in research methodology call a specification error. Doesn't matter how good the answer is if you ask the wrong question. One of the local VEs remarked at Hamcation that they should include computer competency questions on the licensure exams and I'm inclined to think he is right. Then we can speak smugly of "no computer noobs." [Flexradio] Unusual Issue
Fresh boot on computer, bring up PSDR in single RX mode, start the 2nd RX and tune in a signal. Now when I click the TX on the VFO B the volume goes way up and the signal is gone. If I shut the software down and bring it back up, the volume is normal and the signal is there again and I am able to TX on the VFO B. I hope this makes sense, I can do a screen video of it if needed. Anyone else have this issue ??
