[Flexradio] BandText Editor v1.0.2 Released
BandText Editor v1.0.2 has been released is available for download from my website. This release fixes a bug where the wrong table entry was changed if the frequency (or frequency range) being added was not contained in an existing frequency range. Thanks to Robert, KB6QXM, for reporting this bug. In addition, v1.0.2 corrects the tab order of the form controls. Pressing Tab will now step through the controls on the form in the correct order. 73, Ray, K9DUR http://k9dur.info ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/
Re: [Flexradio] BandText table
Ray and Chris, I had previously tried the SDR Data Import Utility and while it imported the Band text table which I verified by looking at the table with Access, it evidently did not get rid of the old one, as I was getting the old table data when I ran SDR. See my original post. I did as Chris suggested: deleted the band text table with Access then used Access to export the band text table from his .mdb to my .mbd. Worked. Tnx Chris. 73, Chas W1CG At 02:07 PM 12/24/2006, Ray Andrews wrote: Charles Chris, It would be easier to use the DB import utility and you do not have to have Access. The process would be: 1. Re: [Flexradio] BandText table
Hi, I downloaded Chris' data base with the new Band Text Table and after renaming the old data base, I used the transfer utility to transfer it to the PowerSDR.mdb. However, the old values of the band text table are still in use. I looked in the PowerSDR.mdb using MS Access and the new table is in place, but it isn't being used. I used the Wizard and imported the data base again from a backup containing Chris' database. Still has the old band text data. What is going on? Importing the table into your database is at your own risk, but if you know how to do it, it shouldn't be a problem. Re: [Flexradio] BandText table
Hi Charles, I'm not very good at importing and exporting these tables. But it sounds like somehow PowerSDR is looking at a different db. I use Access to manipulate the tables. First, make sure PowerSDR is not running. Then open your Powersdr.mdb database with Access. Delete the BandText table. Close your Powersdr.mdb. Then (once again in Access) open the powersdr.mdb database that came from me. Make sure it is in different directory than your original PowerSDR.mdb. Highlight the BandText table. Choose File -- Export. Choose your original PowerSDR.mdb file. Once you complete this, you should have the new BandText table in your PowerSDR.mdb. It's probably easier to use the DB import utility available on the Flex radio web site, but I haven't used it so I don't know how it works. 3.872 MHz reads 75M SSB here, as it should. 73, Ray, K9DUR -- next part -- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Re: [Flexradio] bandtext
There was indeed a hole in the frequencies in any databases created with the SVN version from Sat. There is a new SVN rev. that corrects this that was posted this afternoon. Our apologies for creating any more confusion than necessary. Jerry, Disregard my previous post about 3.872 MHz displaying correctly here. It does, but I had forgotten about the hole in the 80m frequencies that I had corrected here manually. 73, Ray, K9DUR -- next part -- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
