Bill,
It's an either/or situation. If you activate the option, the panel button
will not work and the x2 pin WILL mute the receiver. If you don't select the
option the panel button works but the x2 pin will not. The option appears
first in Preview 9.

The problem with mute in version 12 is that it WILL activate yellow when
the
software is in STANDBY mode. When you switch the software to ON it will
not go yellow on pushing the mute button.
