[Flexradio] test files

2006-02-09 Thread Jim Lux
You've got sample WAV files for things like SSB and AM signals off the air,
but it would be quite handy if you would post some sample WAV files with
things like single tones or two tones, and tell us what they are (i.e.
where is the center frequency: 11.025 or what).

That way, we can experiment with alternate signal processing, or with
generating other test files, and have something to compare against. (i.e.
if you have a file with a 1kHz tone, and I generate a file that I think
should have a 1kHz tone, I can compare mine against yours to see if my
program works)

Just as a cross check, the first SSB file appears to be 2 channels, 32
bits/channel, 382976 samples at 48kHz (just under 8 seconds of data).

I would like a description of each receiver sample IF file that is already posted on the site. It is not clear to me where to set the receiver when playing them.---You've got sample WAV files for things like SSB and AM signals off the air, but it would be quite handy if you would post some sample WAV files with things like single tones or two tones, and tell us what they are (i.e. where is the center frequency: 11.025 or what).
