Re: [Flexradio] Error on new install
After installing both the new PCI parallel card and Delta-44 card, and the M-Audio driver, the program loads as expected. Thanks for the help and suggestions from all. Re: [Flexradio] Error on new install
Insalling should give no problems (I had none on several computers) only when you switch "ON" the PowerSDR witout connecting the SDR1000, and with the 100W PA is selected, then the DEMO mode must be selected, else the software thinks that its transmitting, you get "HIGH SWR" and a power indication of 579 Watt Peter groeten Peter petervn(a)hetnet.nl <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ; pa0pvn(a)hetnet.nl <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ; pa0pvn(a)gmail.com ; pa0pvn(a)amsat.org . Did you install PowerSDR in DEMO mode? You have to if there is not SDR-1000 connected. -Tim Integrated Technical Services www.itsco.com "Si fractum non sit, id reficere" -Unknown Roman consultant -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of A.R.S. - W5AMI Sent: Monday, December 25, 2006 10:07 AM To: Flex-radio Reflector Subject: [Flexradio] Error on new install I am trying to install PowerSDR on a new box and getting the following error during initial load of the program: "Specified argument was out of range of valid values. Re: [Flexradio] Error on new install
Maybe because there is no parallel port yet?? ! Hope that's all it is. I plan to get a PCI parallel port this week when the stores open up. ___ FlexRadio mailing list FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archive Link: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ FlexRadio Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com
Re: [Flexradio] Error on new install
Hi Brian, I got the same error on my machine with it's built in sound card until I installed the ASIO4ALL driver from the Flex-Radio site. 72 Bob WB0POQ - Original Message - From: "A.R.S. - W5AMI" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Flex-radio Reflector" Sent: Monday, December 25, 2006 9:07 AM Subject: [Flexradio] Error on new install >I am trying to install PowerSDR on a new box and getting the following > error during initial load of the program: > > "Specified argument was out of range of valid values. > Parameter name: '1' is not a valid value for index". > > Then it lists several procedures > The error occurs as soon as PowerSDR is "Loading main Form". > > > The computer is an HP a1630n (Brand new) > > Before I lead anyone on a wild goose chase; I have not installed my > Delta-44 card as yet, however the HP does have a built in sound card. > Since I don't have a parallel port on this new computer, I can't use > the SDR yet, and left the D-44 in my old computer so I can get on the > air in the meantime.
