I am fairly well convinced that he is independently wealthy since I am sure that Gerald doesn't pay him as much as he is worth. From my experience, I am certain that Dudley works full time and probably has a reclining chair somewhat different from the usual in that it flushes so he never has to leave his desk. And I don't think he does! You can ask for help any time of the day and he is there! And what is most amazing is the fact that he knows how to help with your problem---no matter what it is! I once had a psycho boss who, during staff briefings, would always highlight a new member of what he called The Hall of Shame. He never discussed it prior to the meetings and it was always a big surprise (especially to the new member) who he chose. Usually it was someone who had worked 2 days without sleep to achieve a schedule and made a bad decision towards the end because of exhaustion, almost always not a major failure but nitty gritty stuff. The only reason I bring this sick individual up is I do not know a single person in the Flex ecosystem that doesn't always go above, beyond and usually unasked to help people.I think the tone is set at the top by Gerald, who has to be one of the nicest, fairest men in the galaxy but also credit the guys themselves. All top notch in my opinion! I would love to see the boss find one member for his Hall from Flexers!
