Re: [Flightgear-devel] fgfs configure error

2011-01-05 Thread Curtis Olson
Hi Dave,

I didn't know we had a "make uninstall" ... I'm not sure I'd trust it to do
what you are hoping ... but I haven't looked at it or tried it myself (we
have so many sharp people contributing to the project it also wouldn't
surprise me if it worked.) I'd definitely hunt through $(prefix)/include
and /usr/include and /usr/local/include looking for a stray
simgear/version.h (and other stray simgear pieces.)

Curt.

[Flightgear-devel] fgfs configure error

2011-01-05 Thread dave perry
With today's simgear and flightgear source from git, after compiling and
installing simgear, fgfs
./configure CFLAGS="-march=native" CXXFLAGS="-march=native"
--prefix=$FG_ROOT
fails with

checking simgear/version.h usability... yes
checking simgear/version.h presence... yes
checking for simgear/version.h... yes
checking for SimGear 2.2.0 or newer... [found 2.0.0] ... wrong version
configure: error: Install latest SimGear first...
make: *** [config.status] Error 1

I assume that it is checking the file /usr/local/include/simgear/version.h

that was written by the simgear
sudo make install.

That file contains
#ifndef _SIMGEAR_VERSION_H
#define _SIMGEAR_VERSION_H

#define SIMGEAR_VERSION 2.2.0

#endif // _SIMGEAR_VERSION_H

which should have passed the test.

I do have a source folder for SimGear 2.0.0 that contains
simgear/version.h that would not pass. But I did a make uninstall in
that folder before compiling and installing the git simgear.

Suggestions?

Re: [Flightgear-devel] AH-1 Merge Request

2011-01-05 Thread Jack Mermod
Sorry, scratch that last request. I accidentally deleted a sound file
in the aircraft, so it crashed upon loading.

Here's the fixed version:

Thanks,

You can download the AH-1 package here:

Thanks!

[Flightgear-devel] Submitting changes to fgdata

2011-01-05 Thread Alexey Varjat
Hi All.

I have one more questions.

I have made some changes related to flightgear data repository (like AI
traffic for the UMMS airport, some liveries to existing models for
Belavia, Austrian, CSA, Turkish, fix errors in Traffic/L/LOT.xml, etc).

Should I submit such changes as attaches to this list as diff/tar-ed
binary, use git send-email to list or use other way?

How much time I have before FG 2.2 release for complete airBaltic
liveries and possibly EVRA ground network/schedule?

PS: I know that some simmers from russian FG forum have made some
changes (including city buildings) for Russian(Murmansk, Pulkovo),
Lithuanian (Vilnius) and Estonian (Tallinn, Piarnu) airports and I hope
that they want to share his work with community.

Regards,
Alexey.
