Re: [Flightgear-devel] CVS Server problems
Hi Ron, Good catch, I installed the viewvc package (rather than building from source) and then ran out of time before I tracked down the new path ... it was still on the todo list. I don't know if I'll be able to get the web site updated today, but appreciate you tracking down the correct link. Curt. Re: [Flightgear-devel] CVS Server problems
Curt (and everyone else) I was playing around this morning and found the interactive CVS browser is present and working, its just at a different url than the old server! The old server used http://cvs.flightgear.org/cgi-bin/viewvc/viewvc.cgi/?root=FlightGear-0.9 http://cvs.flightgear.org/cgi-bin/viewvc/viewvc.cgi/?root=SimGear-0.3 http://cvs.flightgear.org/cgi-bin/viewvc/viewvc.cgi/?root=TerraGear-0.0 The new server is using http://cvs.flightgear.org/viewvc/?root=FlightGear http://cvs.flightgear.org/viewvc/?root=SimGear http://cvs.flightgear.org/viewvc/?root=TerraGear The SimGear link is throwing an exception right now for some reason: "An Exception Has Occurred" "SimGear not found! The wrong path for this repository was configured, or the server on which the CVS tree lives may be down. Please try again in a few minutes." [Flightgear-devel] CVS Server problems
Our CVS server appears to be hanging in the middle of it's boot and unable to fully come up. I don't know what's wrong yet, but it appears to be hardware and my money is on the motherboard. This server has grown to be a pretty old machine. I have another machine in the pipeline that is much less old, so for the very short term I will try to get that up and running. Right now the newer machine is wiped clean, so it may be a day or so before I can get the OS loaded and CVS back up and running. There is no data loss risk here (the data drives aren't affected or related to the problem, and I do nightly offsite backups) but I ask the developers to be patient while I work on the issue. I've heard rumors of SF mailing list problems too, so hopefully this notice will get through. [Flightgear-devel] CVS Server problems
Hi all, a 'cvs update' failed for me today: can't create temporary directory /tmp/cvs-serv9314 No space left on device As my local /tmp has plenty of space left (2GB) I suspect the CVS server to be the culprit.
