way we could just add a prop-wash-diameter value to hstab and use
that (with prop pitch, rpm, and IAS) to plug in additional lift into
 the solver.

It is really desireable to have such a feature available. It would make
the simulation of powerful Propeller Aircraft much more realistic. Today
the high Power Props lack controlability on take off. This was often
critizised and led to the deletion of Aircraft from the Base package due
to the lack of user friendliness.

While discussing the p51d FDM with Jim, we came to notice the lack of
the slipstream effecting the control surfaces. This can hardly be faked
by any current means as the additional Effectivity vanishes with the
Aircraft gaining speed and every feature I can use to simulate this
(effectivity, lift, incidence) increases with speed and is therefor
useless.
Additionally, the effect is of course dependant of the power and
propeller pitch setting.

Another point missing is the slipstream effect on the rudder. It causes
a pronounced tendency to pull against the turning direction of the
propeller. It is caused by the spiral slipstream hitting the rudder.
Again, this effect vanishes with higher Airspeed.

All these isn't noticeable with multi engined Aircraft. They were not
designed to utilize the Slipstream.

 Thanks,

 Jim
