FLUXLIST: Josh/Screenprinting
Hi Josh, I do mail art. Irregularly. Primarily I am a musician so most of my art time is spent on that. I have been trying to think on what I want to do with Mail Art, which projects I want to do and how I want to approach them. I think I want to start doing screenprinting. I've been meaning to experiment with screenprinting but not got round to it yet. If you learn anything good let me know. Yes the Gocco printing method is very like screen printing but on a Lilliputian scale- just right for making postcards. mark came to our house last year and made a limited edition of 500 cards for his PRINT MORE POSTCARDS project which was great fun and only took a few hours (allowing for drying time). The other pic is a piece that consited of 10 blenders with fish in each plugged in and creating a sort of blame shifting of responsibility.. for the death of a fish.. --- John M.
