[Fonts]Re: some fonts apparently cannot be displayed with the new freetype module

MF XFree86 CVS version 20021219.  The omegaserif fonts cannot be
MF displayed using the new freetype2 based freetype of XFree86
MF anymore:

Do they work with ftview of FreeType 2?  Does the log file have
something to say?  (The FT2 backend is somewhat more verbose than the
FT1 one.)

I won't have time to work on that myself before a couple of weeks.

 According to my understanding, there is no maintainer of the X-TT.

 In 2000 (Mar? I lost mails about it), TAKUYA Shiozaki, he is
previous maintaner of X-TT, was retired from the X-TT project.

 Tadayoshi Okuma announced that I will succeed the project. on
the X-TT project ML. I saw he got x-tt.org domain for the project
(the domain was already expired) but nothing happened after that.
Web page was losted, ML was stooped, and maintenance and developping
was stopped of cause. So I can not know about X-TT project currently.

 I heard Shoizaki conntacted about migrate the project from him
to Okuma several times after that, but there was no reply from Okuma.

 This is all about the X-TT project current status, I know.
