co's in programlistingco always start on new line
Hi FOPpers ! I have a problem with annotating code in my DocBook. I want to use an have the areas and callouts all set up fine. But the callout numbers appear on a new line with just the number in it, not at the position I want it to appear. I read in References and FAQ's about it, but which attributes I must choose to gain my desired effect I still can't reckon... All I know is that I've seen working examples with callout numbers at the end of teh same line AND inbetween letters at one exact column position. Can somebody help ? Suppress rendering of page numbers possible ?
Hi FOPers ! If only printing very few pages it can be annoying to have the pages numbered at the bottom. Can I suppress this ? Maybe by setting some XSL parameter ( I print DocBooks using Norman Walsh's Stylesheet Distribution ) ? thanks Norbert Schöpke Developer Critical Reach AG - optimizing the manufacturing aftermarket - Garmischer Straße 19/21 81377 München Fon: +49 (89) / 54 26 21 - 54 Fax: +49 (89) / 54 26 21 - 15 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.criticalreach.com
docbook and to real links in PDF possible ?
Hello FOP community As I've seen working links in a PDF (to other websites) I wonder if it's possible to generate internal and external links from my DocBook into PDF ? I already gave the archives a try but couldn't find anything useful... The DocBook tag doesn't get interpreted at all and writes the whole URL in [ ] behind the link text, which can be very annoying ! If I use the FOP extensions I can produce bookmarks that work, so I guess there could be a solution for this... btw.: When I use these FOP extensions with my Stylesheets, the TOC's and LOT's all don't get proper leader dots to right-align the pagenumbers... Why is this ? If I don't use them, I get the leader dot all fine lined up... any help would be very appreciated... sub/superscript not supported by FOP ?
Hi FOPpers ! While writing on a extensive DocBook Documentation I discovered that and tags from DocBook don't get rendered properly when transformed to FO and then to PDF via FOP. I use Norman Walsh's DocBook-XSL-Stylesheets and for HTML everything work's fine... The text in both tags gets rendered just as normal text, thus being almost useless...This also covers the problem, where the footnote indices don't get superscripted as they should... Is this a known problem ? It isn't mentioned in the "limitations" section of the FOP Homepage... thanks for any reply Norbert Schöpke Developer Critical Reach AG - optimizing the manufacturing aftermarket - Garmischer Straße 19/21 81377 München Fon: +49 (89) / 54 26 21 - 54 Fax: +49 (89) / 54 26 21 - 15 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.criticalreach.com
inconsistent table/t.cell border widths with DocBook to PDF
Hi FOPpers ! While using FOP to build some docbooks of mine works quite nicely, one rather visual problem occured when I used tables. The linewidth of the table/cell borders is not the same for all cells. Some borders appear to be double as wide as others. Yet there seems to be no pattern either, thus I came to think it could be a bug. I experimented with different borderwidths by setting the corresponding parameter in the DocBook stylesheets (Norman Walsh's XSL 1.51.1). But that didn't help. It looks...well...unprofessional so I wanted to ask if this is a known problem, if it's a stylesheet or FOP problem and if there is a fix/workaround to it. I would be glad to hear any hint about this Norbert Schoepke Developer PS : At work I have problems reading the user-digest (I can only read the first post of the list in Lotus Notes)...please post to my email address too, which is: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks Critical Reach AG - optimizing the manufacturing aftermarket - Garmischer Straße 19/21 81377 München Fon: +49 (89) / 54 26 21 - 54 Fax: +49 (89) / 54 26 21 - 15 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.criticalreach.com
