Re: Font Metrics for Adobe Acrobat Asian Font Pack
There are currently some talks about fonts. You may want to look into the fop-dev mailing list. All the details can be found there. Whether OpenType fonts with CFF glyphs (like the ones from the font pack) are going to be implemented is not clear right now. Implementing CFF would probably not be a large thing but the fact that we're planning on adopting an external font library might complicate things a bit. How do I know whether all dependencies are satisfied? I didn't install anything apart form the JavaVM, but maybe Ubuntu already installed something for me. So my question: When I want to bundle fop for windows, what do I have to install too? Re: FOP 0.20.5 and WORDML: Invalid Image URL
Hi Jeremias, I know the Microsoft's stylesheet is far from complete. I am not pointing at FOP, that I am currently using to parse xml and xsl files to convert them into pdf's and works perfectly. I'm just trying to see if somebody had the same problem I have and found a solution. Any help will be welcome. -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/FOP-0.20.5-and-WORDML%3A-Invalid-Image-URL-tf2050142.html#a5682598 Sent from the FOP - Users forum at Nabble.com. - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: FOP 0.20.5 and WORDML: Invalid Image URL
Hi Chris, I'm using FOP 0.20.5 because with FOP 0.92beta I obtain lots of validation errors. I'm using wordml and that is not very obvious to handle, as Jeremias has already pointed out, but if you have a solution, I swap now, no doubt. The only time I remember running into this, was as a consequence of the settings of the default JDK logger. (logging.properties under $JAVA_HOME$/lib) Try fiddling with those, and see if that helps. I think it would be really important to support the Adobe OpenType font pack for Asian languages, since it would allow for complete open source support of Asian languages without requiring any font embedding or proprietary font licensing. I don't have any working knowledge of OpenType fonts or CFF glyphs, but I am willing to help out with any implementation task if I can be of use to get this done.
