[FOSSology] FOSSology on Fedora 13
Hello list, I have a fedora 13 running and wanted to install FOSSology but i ran into dependency problems. I assume that has something to do with my fedora version (it's 13 not 10/11 as announced on the website) Here is what i figured out so far, i'm not so with linux os internals normally: # uname -a Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.34.6-54.fc13.x86_64 #1 SMP Sun Sep 5 17:16:27 UTC 2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux in "/etc/yum.repos.d/fossology.repo": baseurl=http://fossology.org/rpms/fedora/11/x86_64/ # yum --skip-broken install fossology has problems with dependencies: Resolving Dependencies --> Running transaction check ---> Package fossology.x86_64 0:1.2.0-1.fc11 set to be installed --> Processing Dependency: librpm.so.0()(64bit) for package: fossology-1.2.0-1.fc11.x86_64 --> Processing Dependency: librpmio.so.0()(64bit) for package: fossology-1.2.0-1.fc11.x86_64 --> Processing Dependency: libextractor.so.1()(64bit) for package: fossology-1.2.0-1.fc11.x86_64 --> Finished Dependency Resolution There were more dependency problems in the beginning of which most I could resolve by install the packages.
