Conference spending policy updates
Hi everyone, During this week's regular meeting, the Board of Directors approved some updates to the Foundation's conference spending policy. The updated version can be viewed on the wiki: https://wiki.gnome.org/Foundation/Conferences#Conference_Spending_Policy The changes are mostly to make the policy clearer and don't particularly effect the rules. Some background: the conference spending policy is part of a set of financial procedures that the board put in place during its hackfest last October. The goal here is to reduce the amount of work involved in making decisions, as well as the obvious benefit of providing clarity to the different groups involved. I hope that the policy is clear. If it isn't, questions and comments are very welcome! Thanks, Allan -- Vice-President, GNOME Foundation Board of Directors ___ foundation-list mailing list foundation-list@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/foundation-list
