[fpc-devel] binutils for avr 8 bit

Good day!

 

Can someone help me with the 8 bit AVR.

 

Which binutils I can use for assembler compilation and linking?

 

I see that in Arduino they use - GNU assembler (WinAVR 20081205) 2.19

 

It looks that the project for WinAVR is here -

But there is not much information about how to use the as.exe

Can  someone explain the main idea behind the code

In optloop.pas 

function unroll_loop(node : tnode) : tnode;

 

What is the unroll about?
