Unfortunately the Gitlab Todo list floods itself with other stuff, so you need to constantly clean it. 2) Add a "reaction" (i.e. a thumbs up, or any other you can find in the list. The issue search allows to search for "My reaction". So reactions can be your "watchlist". Please don't misunderstand my word "de-motivating" as criticism, I should not have used it, sorry. So, what I believe Werner wants to ask is that he would like someone to review his patch in said issue. It would be not very helpful on my part to answer here and do nothing else :) If you look at the issue, you will see I already merged it before replying to his mail here.
