The same text inset displayed in one part of the chapter and hidden in another part of the chapter?

2008-11-18 Thread Andersen, Verner Engell VEA
Hi
Is it possible to have the same text inset displayed in one part of the
chapter and hidden in another part of the chapter?

It seems that the "online representation" of the text inset gets
unconditinalized whenever I update the book/text inset.

The same text inset displayed in one part of the chapter and hiddenin another part of the chapter?

2008-11-18 Thread Linda G. Gallagher
Conditions in text insets are controlled by the condition settings of the
container file (the file the inset is imported into). You may need to change
the settings on that file or change how the conditions are applied in the
inset to get what you want.

Can pdf and htmls be updated dynamically?

2008-11-18 Thread Garnier Garnier
Hi Framers,

I use Framemaker 7.0 and Quadralay WebWorks Automap 8.5 to generate the
WebWorks help and pdfs.

Is there a way in which only the code section of the documentation in the
generated files be updated dynamically? As of now I have no clue whatsoever but
am aware that scripts can handle this but am not sure about the "how" part. Any
suggestion/ideas welcome. I also want to know if the pdfs too can be updated
dynamically.

TIA
Garnier

- Text extraction from InDesign, QuarkXPress, PDFs etc. for translation, and
subsequent re-import of the translated text

for a time overlap with your office timings. A
dedicated account manager manages the entire communication with you.

Entire payment may be made after receiving satisfactory delivery of service.
References can be provided on request.

User Defined Hotkeys

2008-11-18 Thread Joseph
Hello all,

I know that MS Word supports the ability to create your own hotkeys for
paragraph styles. For example, if you created a paragraph style called
"Body" and you assigned the hotkey "ctrl+W", then every time you used that
key combination on text, the paragraph style body is applied to it.

Is there similar functionality in Frame? If there is, what is it? If there
isn't, is there a plugin?

Sincerely,

Joseph Lorenzini
