RE: Frame 9 buggy - Frame 10 as bad? Frame 11 on horizon?
FM10 came out in very early 2011. I'd be surprised if FM11 was released before mid-2012 for that reason alone. A year and a half is mighty quick turnaround for full number revision. Craig -Original Message- I think those of us who were invited to participate in the FM 11 prerelease program, but didn't have the bandwidth to do so, can safely confirm receiving that invitation back in September. So I wouldn't be surprised to see FM 11 announced around the end of Q1 or in early Q2. Richard G. Combs ___ You are currently subscribed to framers as arch...@mail-archive.com. Even after applying our stylesheet (and all other templates we typically apply) some of the .css styles are completely off (especially numbering and bullets). Have any of you experienced this? If so, what did you do to fix it? DISCLAIMER: I work for WebWorks. Any chance you are generating from an unstructured FrameMaker source? Last I checked, RoboHelp exports the numbered and bulleted paragraphs as a table (similar to what we do in some cases). However, their markup may not exactly match the source document layout. RE: Enabling a PDF for comments from FrameMaker Settings
For a "standard" PDF, only two commenting tools are available in Reader, but for a PDF saved with commenting enabled from Acrobat PRO, Reader will have 20+ tools available. However, I don't think it can be automated in Acrobat Pro unless using an outside macro program to watch a folder. LiveCycle Reader Extensions is your only other option for automation. With the free *Adobe Reader X*, end users can use two commenting tools (sticky notes and highlight text), independently of how the PDF was created, as long as the PDF does not have security settings that prevent commenting -- see http://acrobat.solutions.adobe.com/content/areaderx_ipm1_en > Is there a way to enable commenting using any of the above tools that I > told you that I have, before the PDF is generated?
