[Framers] Adding alternative text to images

2017-02-23 Thread Norton, Michael
How do you add alternative text to images in FrameMaker 2015?

I see in the Frame Help that it is supported, but I did not see how, nor is
there a field for entering the text on the Object Properties panel.

I'm trying to include a brief description of the image, typically a screen
shot, to files that will be published as PDF files.

Thanks.

You're following these instructions and Text Attributes is missing?

1)Select the frame and choose Special > Anchored Frame.
The Anchored Frame dialog is displayed.
2)Click Object Attributes.
3)In the Text Attributes section, add your alt text and actual text,
and then click Set.

Select the anchored frame (Control+Click), choose Special > Anchored Frame,
and click the Object Attributes button.
