Re: [Framers] free vintage books

2020-09-24 Thread Roberta Hennessey
Thank you for your response. When I go into PP I don't see Friends and
Family, and the UI looks different to me but I don't use it very often.
Thank you for the tips.

Re: [Framers] free vintage books

2020-09-24 Thread info
The secret on Paypal is to use Friends and Family when just reimbursing. There
is no fee or purchase protection. Use Goods and Services when paying for a
purchase. There is then a fee and protection.

Re: [Framers] free vintage books

2020-09-24 Thread Roberta Hennessey
When I usually send $ I select send and then input an email address. There
is no other option when I open PP.
I just sent $6.00, it just says send BUT when the system goes to the next
screen, the prompt says send payment.
I think this is a software issue. Or I can send a check to you at your
address. Now I'm leery of PP.

Hi Doug,

you would use the Code converter by Richard Ishida to find out exactly
what characters are given.

Re: [Framers] Character codes

2020-09-24 Thread Lin Sims
You mean, select the character in an .fm file and have FrameMaker tell you
what the ANSI/ASCII or UNICODE codepoint is?

If that's what you mean, then no. I don't think you can even get that from
the MIF file.

[Framers] Character codes

2020-09-24 Thread Doug
Is there a way to select a character in Frame and have it tell you what
computer code it represents? Some special characters have multiple codes
that will display them.

Thanks!
