Text with colored background

Hello everybody,

Is there a possibility in FM to define a character style with a background
color? Objective would be to define a character style with a grey background
to mean a button in a software to click, for instance... Like in Word when
you highlight a text in yellow... has anyone done this before in FM v7.1 on
PC?

With your "template" file open, and the book file open, highlight all files
in the book that should receive the updated formats.

Then, File > Import Formats; specify the template file and select the
formats that you want to apply; click Import. All the highlighted files
receive the new info.

Synchronizing documents in a book

Hello!

This question must be very easy to answer for a FM specialist, that I am
not!

Here is my problem: I am working with FM 7.1 on PC in non-structured mode.
(I was on QuarkXpress v4 on PC before.)

I have a book with several documents in it: how can I say to the different
documents that for instance one of my paragraph style has changed and make
it synchronized in all the documents at once? Is master pages techniques
involved with that issue? 

What I do is importing format in each document by hand from the document
that contains the updated paragraphs...

Please help if you have a solution.
