Seems not to work; I get an error "file

Anyone else seen this?

Not quite, you have to pay every month for a year = $360. Not cheap when
you only need it for maybe one or two months of work.

A single-month subscription to InDesign is $30. An annual subscription
is $240, which you can pay monthly if you prefer.

Re: [Framers] Creating live transparency in PDFs using FrameMaker

2018-01-30 Thread Böðvar Björgvinsson
"Live transparency", in my view: fancy word for producing transparent
objects when printing to ps or "Save as" pdf. Does not work printing
directly to my HP OfficeJet Pro 8210. Maybe it can work if you have a
PostScript printer and know how to address its ps engine.
ID: Exactly, but then you have to "own" a copy of ID—which I don't. ;-)

What does "live transparency" mean? The term isn't explained in the PDF.

Seems to me like InDesign would be a more appropriate tool if you
needed to do things like that.

This is really a Must-Read. So meticulously explained. I am only half way

other I would have liked to solve using this technique.
