Adobe's website (http://www.adobe.com/products/technicalcommunicationsuite/upgrade/ ) regarding upgrading from FrameMaker (any version) to the TC Suite includes the statement:
"Upgrades for volume and educational licensing are handled separately." So one might presume that educational licensing will be an option. Currently it appears that the Technical Communications Suite will be shipping (in either English or French - apparently the interface language choices) by the end of November 2007.
