You already know Step 1: 1. In the Book window, activate File > Close All Files in Book (Esc f C or Alt + Shift + F c). 2. Press and hold the N key until the last of the confirmation dialog boxes disappears. You're done. IMO calling it something like Abandon Changes and Close Book would help to set expectations. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, July 17, 2008 1:12 PM To: John Sgammato Cc: framers@lists.frameusers.com Subject: Re: Close all chapters without saving Hi John, Such a plug-in would be easy to write. Perhaps if said plugin were activated by the Shift-Alt-F File menu, listed just below Close All Files in Book, the feared hate mail might be minimal. ;-) Rene L. FileTools does this .. although it closes all open files, not just those in a particular book. http://leximation.com/tools/info/filetools.php It does warn you twice before performing this action, just to be sure. Hi John, Such a plug-in would be easy to write. It also sounds like a sure-fire way to get lots of hate mail when it performs exactly as designed.
