RE: Frame2000 still available?
The only reference in Google i have found is this (in a Word file ): I-AUTHOR DELUXE FOR SUPER VCD V. 1.0 : OTIMO!! IBM FRAME2000 5.5: Coupled with Adobe FrameMaker+SGML and Softline International Incorporated (SII)FM6SGML, Frame2000 appears to the author as a single, seamless application.Frame2000 provides an authoring environment that combines the power and versatility of structured markup with the ease-of-use of desktop publishing and a natural user interface. Frame2000 provides an interactive authoring model; you see formatted results of your work as you make changes. Or, if you prefer, you can choose to switch back and forth between viewing your document with or without the tags and not take your hands off the keys. Frame2000 is designed to simplify and automate authoring tasks while providing immediate feedback. Re: Frame2000 still available?
You wrote (long ago): Anyone knows whether Frame2000 is still available for purchase? As it was based on FrameMaker+SGML 5.5, it seems quite old by now (11+ years?). [that said, there are some companies still using FM5.5.6 for production purposes] Some related manuals used to be available on the web, but I had no success finding direct links. If you are still looking for more information on this product, I suggest contacting Softline International Inc. (softline.com) -- the product manual indicates that they licensed this package to IBM.
