Very odd. It works fine on my FM10 installation.

Perhaps the .dll has been corrupted in some way? Try the attached.

I'm shooting in the dark here - was FrameMaker closed when you placed the
.dll in the Plugins folder?

Try closing FM, deleting your .dll, placing the attached .dll in the Plugins
folder, and reopening FM.

Hard to troubleshoot from a distance, as I'm sure you'll appreciate.

Let us know how you get on,

Andy

Yes, I am. I use it with FM 8, so I'm familiar with the location of the menu
options. Nothing there in my FM 10 installation.

Andy,

No problem. I knew it was holiday time.

Here is where the toc_breaker.dll file is:

J:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\AdobeFrameMaker10\fminit\Plugins

(Odd drive letter because my system is set to dual boot between Win XP and
Win 7, and I'm in Win XP right now.)

Hi Linda,

Many apologies for the long delay in replying.

Could you confirm that you have placed the toc_breaker.dll file in the
Plugins folder inside the fminit folder, rather than the plugins folder
directly under the FrameMaker 10 installation folder.

Thanks,

I'm using the TOC breaker plug-in for a couple of books and am in the
process of setting up a new computer with FM 10 (and I'm not having fun).

I downloaded the plug-in version for FM 9 (don't see a version for FM 10)
and copied the .dll file to the right place for FM 10, but it does not work.
I don't see the additional menu items I should see.

Has anyone gotten this work with FM 10? Any alternative plug-ins that do the
same thing?

Thanks and happy new year!!!
