Fellow Frameworkers,

Good afternoon! I wanted to send a reminder for the approaching MONO NO
AWARE VII deadline which is OCTOBER 31st 2013. Just shy of a week away!

Over the last 7 years MONO NO AWARE has become the premiere event to focus
on the cinematic experience - blending moving image with performance and
installation art.  MONO NO AWARE is an international exhibition open to any
person or group of persons making contemporary art/film that incorporates
Super 8mm, 16mm, 35mm or altered light projections as part of a sculpture,
installation, music, dance, or expanded cinema performance. In 2012, MONO NO
 AWARE VI had over 500 people attend the two-night event.

Deadline for submissions: October 31st, 2013 - NO FEE
SUBMISSIONS CAN BE SENT BY MAIL OR ONLINE
Event: December 6th and 7th 2013

Paul Tomasko in Upstate NY also has parts and does service. Highly
recommended for service.

Hi,

I second the motion to ask Dwight, and also recommend checking
with Urbanski Film in Illinois, as they used to carry lots of Steenbeck
lamps, so they might have something laying around that could help you.

Steenbeck did have a site up awhile ago that listed available machines, so
they may have parts stocked. This may be a last resort as they are
overseas, and probably exorbitant
