The Kodak film is 7983. It has a black lacquer coating, similar to photo 
emulsion, which can be scratched or cleared with household bleach. Minimum 
purchase is one can = 2 x 1000 foot rolls. Costs about $130 per can.

was fine, completely unaffected as far as I can tell,

Plenty of places in London; Deluxe Soho, iDailies, Prestech, Glassworks, TK1. 
There are others. Train will be quicker (about 90 minutes) and easier than 
driving though,
