I've found this to be a good resource...it can yield surprises...such as
your inclusion of non-human animal (and mechanical) interaction in *Au
Hasard Balthazar *and *Mothlight.*

I couldn’t agree more. I think Kuchar’s films dared you to laugh at them (which 
was entirely possible). But there is indeed a great deal of sweetness, sadness, 
and sincerity in his films.
