My analog Sekonic light meter (oldish version of this:
_http://www.sekonic.com/Products/L-398A/Overview.aspx_
(http://www.sekonic.com/Products/L-398A/Overview.aspx) ) stopped working after
somebody dropped it (the memory is
too painful to accept full blame). It runs off of a photocell, battery free.
Is it really a goner? Or is there some magician out there who knocks
photocells back into place?

2012-08-17 Thread Scott Dorsey
Send it back to Sekonic, they will fix it. I think the last time I broke
the meter movement on mine they charged me $100 (which is more than I paid
for the meter when I bought it new in 1975 but fairly reasonable these days).
