Further to this bug report, I had the latest BIOS 14.02 for the board installed
before I upgraded the CPU and I reflashed the same BIOS version after the CPU
upgrade with no change in boot freeze result.

Bug ID: 277534
Summary: FreeBSD 14.0 boot freeze after CPU upgrade
   Product: Base System
   Version: 14.0-RELEASE
  Hardware: amd64
OS: Any
Status: New
  Severity: Affects Only Me
  Priority: ---
 Component: misc
  Assignee: b...@freebsd.org
  Reporter: ian.caro...@proton.me

Intel Celeron G6900 Boot log

Hardware
Motherboard: ASRock B660M-STX (2 M.2, 2 DDR4 SO-DIMM, Audio, Video, Gigabit
LAN)
Chipset: Intel Alder Point-S B660 (South Bridge), Intel Raptor Lake-S (North
Bridge)
CPU OLD: Intel Celeron G6900
CPU NEW: 6C+8c 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13500T
Network Adapter: Intel Ethernet Connection (17) I219-V (Intel Alder Point-S
PCH)

I recently upgraded the CPU OLD to CPU NEW.
After the CPU upgrade the system would no longer boot pausing at:
Code:

em0: mem 0x70a0-0x70a1 at device 31.6 on pci0

for around 1min 20 secs then continues booting until it freezes on:
Code:

uhub0: 25 ports with 25 removable, self powered

Things I've tried:
1. Booting with FreeBSD 14.0 installation img usb. Results in the same boot
freeze.
2. Booting with Windows 10 live usb. Successful boot all hardware recognized
and functional.
3. Booting with opensuse Tumbleweed live usb. Successful boot all hardware
recognized and functional.

If I disable the onboard Intel I219-V adapter in the BIOS the system will boot
correctly.
Is the new CPU not supported?
