5.1 mfsroot floppy broken?
Hi, I have been trying to get an install of 5.1 using the floppies made off the 5.1 ISO, and it seems they are broken. Has anyone else successfully achieved an install using the boot disks? Regards - Jacob Further Details: After booting, custom install, and then selecting cdrom/dos partion/floppies as the media, you receive the following error: Error mounting /dev/xxx on /dist: No such file for directory (2) (Just replace xxx with the media you have selected) ___ JacobRhoden -- http://rhoden.id.au/ ___ [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-hackers To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"

ucom not in MAKEDEV in 4.8-STABLE
Hi People, I was wondering, is there a reason why the 4.8-STABLE version of MAKEDEV does not have the ability to generate ucom. (I was wondering because I have to back port a bit of code on every machine I want to do it on). usb (ucom) driver code comments..?
Hey, I am trying to get a device working which uses ucom, and the ucom code has no comments whatsoever, I am able to work bits out, I was wondering if there was any sort of documentation whatsoever on this area? Intel D845EPT2 Motherboard - USB broken :(
Resending: realised I should indicate I am using 4.8-STABLE (Freshly compiled) Hey People, Does anyone here use the Intel EPT2 motherboard? Have they managed to get USB working, and if so how? Any ideas greatly appreciated! (Or where to poke at would be useful as well). usbd -dd prints messages as if it is all working fine, but it simply does not recognise any device you chuck at it.
