Hi there! I am currently playing around with analyzing crash dumps on FreeBSD. Are there any ways to crash the system to get a dump? For example, on Solaris it's easy to change the Inode-Number of the root-filesystem, so it crashes the next time it tries to access "/" - but can i do the same on FBSD?
Or can i force the system to write the current memory content to the dump-device without crashing the whole system? Thanks, Egon To Unsubscribe: send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe freebsd-hackers" in the body of the message
