snd_geode - where it is

i found it mentioned  on older mailing list archives. Unfortunately all
links to source are dead.

There is no such driver now in FreeBSD-9.

Is there any reason that it was removed, or it wasn't commited at all?

any place where i can get it?

I'm pretty sure it was part of the base system at one time, but that was
a long time ago. It's not like it would drop into a modern GIANT-free
FreeBSD anyway. Try OSS from ports, would be my first guess.

Remember that if you install audio/oss, you will have to compile a
kernel without sound drivers built in.
