Maintainership available for some ports

2009-06-27 Thread Gabor Kovesdan

Hi all,

I've just dropped the maintainership for some ports, please see the
forwarded mail for a list. I don't use these any more and I would like
to concentrate my time on another tasks (like SoC project, BSDL
bc/dc/grep/sort) so I think it is better to stay with the ports I really
use. If you are interested in any of them, please reply and I (or other
committer on the list) will assign it to you.

textproc/scim-kmfl-sil-ipa-unicode5: What to do with the port name?

2009-06-27 Thread Nikola Lečić
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: RIPEMD160

Hello,

I prepared an update for textproc/scim-kmfl-sil-ipa-unicode5 (a
keyboard for KMFL engine of SCIM for international phonetic alphabet)
to version 1.2.

However, the main thing in this new version is support for current
Unicode standard, which is version 5.1. I changed the COMMENT line
accordingly, but it appears that the original port name was not ideally
chosen, i.e. the right name for the port should now be
scim-kmfl-ipa-unicode51. Of course, there is no need for preserving the
old version.

So, what is the right thing to do now?

a) to change the name to scim-kmfl-ipa-unicode51;
b) to change the name to scim-kmfl-ipa-unicode;
c) to leave the name as it is.

Best wishes,

of course...

Hi Gabor,

I can take the above four if not already claimed. Let me know if I
should submit a PR to make this change in the Makefile or whether you
can take it from here. :)
