Sounds good to me.

I have recently done a few mongo Mongo mongo upgrades would I can prep some
notes on that, perhaps in the wiki? We could reference it in the pkg-message
perhaps?

p5-Locale-Language?

2020-02-05 Thread Doug Sampson
How do I go about requesting a new Perl port for the Locale::Language module
that was taken out of Perl 5.30? www/foswiki depends on that module and some of
its functions have not worked since I upgraded the wiki system to 5.30. Since I
use ports exclusively, I do not wish to revert to cpan to install such modules.

Update www/foswiki to 2.1.6?

2018-04-25 Thread Doug Sampson

The foswiki developers have told me that the version of foswiki newer than

Hi,

Just returned today from one week vacation.

I used portmaster to perform the upgrade. Is that why it failed?

Since the port failed to update, I had to start over from scratch. Before doing
a 'make install clean', I removed the symlink and the install failed. I found
that I also needed to remove the logs directory before the installation would
succeed.

Perhaps the update scripts needs to be modified to remove/rename symlinks to
/var/log/openfire and/or logs directory as part of the update? I certainly did
not create these symlinks. I assume since you are the port maintainer for this
openfire port that you would test updates.

Let me know if you need additional documentation of the update process.

Apache 2.2.7?

2014-03-25 Thread Doug Sampson

http://portaudit.freebsd.org/91ecb546-b1e6-11e3-980f-20cf30e32f6d.html

indicates that 2.2.7 overcomes the vulnerability. However, when I went in to
upgrade the port, version 2.2.7 is nowhere to be found. Thus my portmaster

When can we expect apache 2.2.7 port to be made available?

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Running FBSD
8.2. Postgresql 8.4.9 client server.

What could this be? Am I missing something? Do I need to rebuild
certain dependencies?

Any assistance you could provide or even references to appropriate
sites would be appreciated! I've googled around to no avail.

RE: upgrade of postgresql-contrib from 8.4.8 to 8.4.9 fails

2011-11-02 Thread Doug Sampson
As far i understand you built postgresql ports with enabled option
GSSAPI (it is off by default). Disable it and rebuild postgresql.
 This
 gssapi support is broken.

Okay, so I uninstalled postgresql84-server, did a 'make config' to exclude
GSSAPI support, rebuilt the port from scratch. Now when I attempt to start
postgresql84-server, I get this:

corvus-root@/usr/local/etc/rc.d# ./postgresql stop
/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/libpq.so.5: Undefined symbol
GSS_C_NT_HOSTBASED_SERVICE
corvus-root@/usr/local/etc/rc.d# ./postgresql start
/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/libpq.so.5: Undefined symbol
GSS_C_NT_HOSTBASED_SERVICE
corvus-root@/usr/local/etc/rc.d#

The 'make config' has the following options selected:

NLS
XML
TZDATA
INTDATE
SSL

Hm? I made sure that postgresql84-client did not have GSSAPI support selected.

What about reinstalling the PHP port with the DEBUG option
