I'm just wondering why some ports are still using openldap-client23 (i.e 
pam_ldap nss_ldap) instead of openldap-client24 ?
Is there any valid entry in make.conf to have openldap-client24 instead

Once again it help :-) !!!
But one more thing, when I try to update all ports installed in My box 
with portmanager -u, it tries to install xorg
So I've added in /etc/make.conf WITHOUT_X11=yes , and the problem is 
solved (I think).

I have this error when i try to use scilab:

/usr/local/bin/scilab: /usr/local/lib/scilab/pvm3/lib/pvmgetarch: not found
/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libgfortran.so.2" not found, 
required by "scilex"


I try to use it under freebsd 6.2-STABLE, xorg 7.2, kde 3.5.6.
I understood that I need libgfortran, but don't know what port to install

You need full source tree installed, not just kernel sources as port's
Makefile requires.
