IFAIK you can do it in Linux. In any case this laptop has the battery dead already so its AC always. port /devel/xsd - Compile Error: 'xsd-frontend/semantic-graph/fundamental.hxx' file not found
Its not the first time I've build KDE in freebsd-10, and I've found this error while compiling xsd (kde-pim dependency) ports/devel/xsd/work/xsd-3.3.0-2+dep/libxsd-frontend/xsd-frontend/semanticgraph.hxx:20:10: fatal error: 'xsd-frontend/semantic-graph/fundamental.hxx' file not found #include The problem is that fundamental.hxx is not being converted by gm4, its easy to do it manually, but still its always annoying that kde4 stops building when it gets here! Anyway, just wanted to report this, should be a small fix I guess! All I see in /var/log/messages is: kernel: pid 86052 (firefox), uid 1001: exited on signal 11 Running from the shell I get "Segmentation fault" before the crash... The first times I was getting an error related to alsa so I've rebuild with PulseAudio and now I just see: "Segmentation fault" I wonder if this is specific to FreeBSD 10, I guess other users must be running FF in FreeBSD 9.1 and without Flash! [SOLVED] Re: Can't build Xorg --> make failed for ports-mgmt/pkg
I did a make deinstall removing pkg... make clean and made sure work dir was gone! Then I tried "pkg" command, because if its no installed i will ask you to do it! I accepted the install of pkg-1.0.11 After this I tried portmaster -f x11/xorg, pkg was again mentioned for update, and again it failed! I cleaned dirs again rebooted... Than I tried to rebuild just "libdrm" and not xorg, with portmaster -f, pkg was mentioned again but this time the update worked and I'm now with pkg-1.0.13 pkg info | grep pkg pkg-1.0.13 New generation package manager I'm not exactly sure why it worked now and not before... The only difference now is that I made a "make deinstall", I'm glad its solved... still having issues with "xorg" but that is a totally different discussion! Re: Can\'t build Xorg --> make failed for ports-mgmt/pkg
> First you should update your port tree, there is pkg 1.0.13. > > Are you building pkg on -CURRENT ? According to the output I would say yes '--- pkg-static ---' is bmake only :) second this error is odd because sqlite3_shell is from external/sqlite3/shell.c which is build before, pkg-static being the last thing built the build process should have yelled at you before. Are you sure your workdir was really clean before starting building? I know portmaster is supposed to clean it for you. regards, Bapt == Sorry for the last mail, I hit resend on my blackberry by mistake. Yes its clean in fact I also tried make clean and make when I noticed portmaster failed. I didn't notice the upgrade because I add just installed the machine and ports 2 days ago! Can't build Xorg --> make failed for ports-mgmt/pkg
I'm attempting to install kde4 in FreeBSD 10-current, after 3 days dealing with some dependency issues I was able to install kde4 with portmaster... Before kde already installed Xorg, but I get a "green" and sometime "purple"screen when X starts, the log pointed me to this problem: http://www.mail-archive.com/freebsd-current@freebsd.org/msg146880.html However when trying to rebuild Xorg with portmaster it stops on "pkg" with the following error: --- pkg-static --- gcc -O2 -pipe -I/usr/local/include -fno-strict-aliasing -I/data/ports/ports-mgmt/pkg/work/pkg-1.0.12/pkg-static/../libpkg -std=gnu99 -fstack-protector -Wsystem-headers -Werror -Wall -Wno-format-y2k -W -Wno-unused-parameter -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wpointer-arith -Wreturn-type -Wcast-qual -Wwrite-strings -Wswitch -Wshadow -Wunused-parameter -Wcast-align -Wchar-subscripts -Winline -Wnested-externs -Wredundant-decls -Wold-style-definition -Wno-pointer-sign -L/usr/local/lib -static -o pkg-static add.o audit.o autoremove.o backup.o check.o clean.o create.o delete.o event.o info.o install.o main.o progressmeter.o query.o register.o repo.o rquery.o update.o upgrade.o search.o set.o shlib.o updating.o utils.o version.o which.o fetch.o shell.o stats.o -L/data/ports/ports-mgmt/pkg/work/pkg-1.0.12/pkg-static/../libpkg -lpkg -larchive -lutil -lpthread -lsbuf -lfetch -lssl -lcrypto -lmd -lz -lbz2 -llzma -L/data/ports/ports-mgmt/pkg/work/pkg-1.0.12/pkg-static/../external/sqlite -lbsdyml -lsqlite3 -larchive -lsbuf -lfetch -lpthread -lelf -lssl -lcrypto -lmd -lz -lbz2 -llzma -ledit -lncursesw -ljail /usr/local/lib/libpkg.a(pkgdb.o): In function `pkgdb_cmd': pkgdb.c:(.text+0x947f): undefined reference to `sqlite3_shell' *** [pkg-static] Error code 1 make: stopped in /data/ports/ports-mgmt/pkg/work/pkg-1.0.12/pkg-static 1 error = Is anyone else having this problem?
