I think we can safely replace x11-toolkits/swt with x11-toolkits/swt-devel.

I would also prefer to drop myself from maintainance of the swt port: I
only grabbed it to make sure the updates would go to the -devel port
first.

FWIW, the mozilla option is also broken. I think the best
is to update the port to the latest version (3.7.1) and
then look to see what is wrong with mozilla and webkit.

The problem is that Leslie has webkit installed. There
must be some configure flag to disable it but my
desktop motherboard toasted so I cant look at it.

print/afm: update for testing

2011-09-11 Thread Pedro F. Giffuni
Hello;

OpenOffice come with a package of 35 Adobe
Font Metric files. I think these are useful
basically for Windows but not for UNIX: am
I correct?

I did an update to print/afm so that it uses
the OOo file, which is somewhat bigger.

I am hesitating if I should submit this as print/afm
is used by hylafax and some of the names have
changed. Perhaps someone with hylafax may test
the attached patch?

best regards,

FreeBSD Port: math/femlab - deprecation

2011-01-17 Thread Pedro F. Giffuni
I suggest this port is labeled DEPRECATED and removed in
a near future.

I ported this in 1997 but development ceased soon after it
was released, so even when it still builds I am pretty
sure development has ceased and we have better packages
for this type of stuff now.

Pedro.

GPLv3 and LICENSE

2011-01-05 Thread Pedro F. Giffuni
Hello;

I was just looking around FreeBSD's Wiki and I found a page
where ports with GPLv3 license are listed:

http://wiki.freebsd.org/PortsAndGPLv3

While this list is necessarily incomplete, I would think
the right place to write the license would be in the
ports tree using the new LICENSE= tag.

I only looked a few but it seems like most of the ports
in that list don't set the value!

I suggest that committers enforce a policy of tagging
GPLv3 code when the port is updated.

cheers,

Pedro.

Hi Gerald;

I haven´t checked this in a while but it was my attempt to clean Festival+OGI
port that you just deprecated.

cheers,
