See: PR 114336 contains the final port for php*-chartdirector http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=114336 Note: there are also versions of chartdirector for ruby, perl, C++, java that could be ported. Re: chartdirector package
I had a quick look at the web site, and there appears to be 6 different versions of ChartDirector (java, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, C++) that could be ported to FreeBSD so that they can be made into packages. I had a quick look, and see the following problems: - Doesn't specify which version of FreeBSD was used to compile the binaries. - The archive files are not versioned on the web site. The archive files do include multiple binaries for different versions of PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby. You may want to try to create a port for the version of ChartDirector that you need. Checking, no one has yet created a port for any of the variants of this software, even though they have versions they claim run on FreeBSD. So it will take someone taking an interest to create them, or you can try it yourself via looking at the following documents: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/porters-handbook/index.html http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/articles/contributing-ports/index.html mcl ___ freebsd-ports@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-ports To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
