ImageMagick and Gallery2
Hi all, I tried to install ImageMagick from the ports-distribution for FreeBSD 6.0 on a sparc32-box but I'm unsure if I did something wrong or if the ports package is messed up since there are no binaries installed for ImageMagick? Startup script
Hi all, newbie question: which script do I put stuff that needs to be booted during system startup, like apache httpd, spamd, named, etc? Re: Startup script
And if there isn't any /etc/rc.local I just create one and put stuff in there? The absence of that file confused me a bit. Investigate the contents, and proper usage, of /usr/local/etc/rc.d. It is also possible to put things in /etc/rc.local. You should also read the man page for /etc/rc.conf. FreeBSD on Sun Netra X1
Hi all, I tried to install FreeBSD 6.0 on a Sun Netra X1. I booted from the boot CD and then tried to install the rest via FTP but it never was able to resolv any of the FTP sites. The network stuff in the box works with Linux and OpenBSD and all the right data was entered (gateway, dns server address, etc). I googled a bit and it appears to be problems with FreeBSD and networking on this box. Or has it been resolved? Thanks, Joacim ___ freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
