LibreOffice 3.5.6 InteractiveAugmentedIOException run error

2012-08-27 Thread The Todds
I have 8.3 stable x86-64 system with the ports updated on 25 August
2012. Libreoffice 3.5.6 compiled without any errors however when I
attempt to run it I get the following error messages:

javaPathHelper: not found
terminate called after throwing an instance of
'com::sun::star::ucb::InteractiveAugmentedIOException'

I understand the the javaPathHelper is just a nuisance message.
Attempting to run Libreoffice as root gives the following message.

GConf warning: failure listing pairs in `/desktop/gnome/interface':

you need to enable TCP/IP networking for ORBit, or you have stale NFS

I rebuilt all the required libraries and dbus and gconf without success.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Chromium Crashes

2012-06-09 Thread The Todds
Yes this is the latest build (5th June) of Chromium. I suppose I could
revert to the 18.0.1025.168 version using portdowngrade until this
fault is fixed.

Google+ install Hangout Voice and Video Plug-in

2012-02-17 Thread The Todds
Hi,

I was wondering whether it would possible to get Google+ Hangout running
on Freebsd.

I am running firefox-10.0,1 installed from the ports on FreeBSD
8.2-STABLE #0:amd64

Trying to install the plugin from the Google+ page and I get an almost
finished message, but that is as far as it goes. I understand that
Google+ is only supported on Windows XP+, Mac OS X 10.5+ or Linux, but
what would it take, or is it even possible to get it working on Freebsd?
