ps/2 mouse

2005-09-26 Thread brian kaczynski
My PS/2 mouse doesn't move in Xorg. I've tried the protocol on auto and ps/2 in
xorgconfig, but nothing seems to work. I've noticed there isn't an entry in
/dev for psm0. I'm using a keyboard, video, mouse switcher, but that shouldn't
matter because it worked on linux before. I tried adding the mouse in
sysinstall with the mouse daemon, but i still have no psm0, and of course, the
mouse still doesnt work. Any help, ideas, suggestions would be wonderful.
Thanks in advance.

combine partitions

2005-09-05 Thread brian kaczynski
I used to have 2 slices on my hdd, one for windows, one for freebsd. i recently
got rid of windows, and want to merge that slice into the other, and probably
grow the /usr directory to fill the slice. How can I merge the two slices?

chrooting SSH users into their home directories

2005-09-02 Thread Brian Kaczynski
I was wondering how you could lock a user into their home with chroot
when using SSH, similar to what the /etc/ftpchroot file does for FTP
users. The ssh server is sshd.
