Hello, is there any progress with port math/scilab on FreeBSD 7.2-RELEASE on AMD64 ? I checked that port (math/scilab) about 2 months ago and today and still is the following information: # make install clean ===> scilab-4.1.2_3 is marked as broken: segfaults during build on FreeBSD amd64/7.x. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/math/scilab. I try mount my windows partition as following mount_ntfs -C ISO-8859-2 -u anuser -g ganuser -m 540 /dev/ad0s1 /c but with this is one problem - files are set execution flag e.g -r-xr- 0 anuser ganuser 672 Jan 8 2006 file.txt folders are ok and I have acces to folders. dr-xr- 0 anuser ganuser 0 Jul 20 22:28 samba How I should mount this partition to obtain on files no execution flag e.g. -r--r- 0 anuser ganuser 672 Jan 8 2006 file.txt (or how set right acces something like this -r-Xr- ? X - only on folders) but on folders it should be as before. Is it possible with mount_ntfs? How I can compile math/atlas quicker?
Hello ! Thank you very much for previous help ! :-) Thank you. I have a problem. I compile /usr/ports/math/atlas and it compiling 3 full days and it is still compiling (processor AMD 1.6 GHz). How long the atlas will be compile? How I can make it in shorter time? I want to use octave and scilab, but first I must to have atlas (as dependency). Is it possible to turn off all the test in atlas? How I can do that? Or what else I must to do? Could someone help me? It is horrible to wait so long (for the one package atlas)! Thanks in advance! Sharing internet connection, how?
Hello! I have two ethernet cards on my computer. The first is rl0 - with the adrress from my ISP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (DSL 1M), and the second is vr0 - with the address 192.168.1.1. I want to use my computer as gateway to internet for the other computers in my home. How I can sharing internet connection on my computer to the rest computers in my home? I hve 2 computers (my and my wife (rl0 192.168.1.2)). Could somone help me, I'm beginner? I still obtain error when compile /usr/ports/math/scilab
