trouble with linux java install.
Checksum OK for j2sdk-1_3_1_06-linux-i586.bin. === linux-sun-jdk-1.3.1.06_1 depends on file: /compat/linux/lib/libc.so.6 - found ELF interpreter /compat/svr4/lib/ld-linux.so.2 not found Abort trap *** Error code 134 I recieve the above error msg when I do a make install clean on the linux java sun jdk13.I've typed Linux at a shell promte and I get informed that the linux driver is running. I've tried as a work around creating a link from the svr4 to the linux folder thinking it would find it in the correct place and that would work. Java freebsd 4.7
I have a compaq M700 loaded with freebsd 4.7 and I've been trying to install via ports. I downloaded and installed in /usr/ports/distfiles the 3 tar.gz's that the port requieres.when I run make install clean I get the following error. Unpacking... Checksumming... 0 0 Extracting... Packages in stand/sysinstal
I recently CVSuped my system to 4.7 prerelease. I remaded the world and even stand/sysinstall. I tried to add some packages to my pc and I get the following error. Warning: Can't find the `4.7-PRERELEASE' distribution on this FTP server. You may need to visit a different server for the release you are trying to fetch or go to the Options menu and to set the release name to explicitly match what's available on ftp.freebsd.org (or set to any). Would you like to select another FTP server? I tried agien with the any option and get the same results can someone help me fix this problem? __ Do you Yahoo!? JDK 1.31 and Mozillia on freebsd 4.7-prerelease
I just CVSup my system to 4.7 prelease I also added via the ports tree and download the JDK 1.3 package. but java still doesn't work on my mozillia.
