Hi all, i often get message like this in my box :
kernel: maxproc limit exceeded by uid 5126, please see tuning(7) and
login.conf(5)

but i doesn t understand well because the aim of login.conf is to limit
process so why this message and what to do ?

dummynet and ipfw

Hi all i have a little problem with ipfw
i have try the following command :
ipfw add 100 pipe 1 ip from 192.168.1.5 to any
and i have no more network then i try a ping and get
ping : sendto : No buffer space invalide

any idea how can i fix this?

i have this error  Couldn't resolve your hostname; using your IP address
instead
but if i try to nslookup all is good it s only with ircd anyone has already
had this matter and solve it?

./usr/libexec/elf/ld cannot find -lresolv
 and if i say in the conf no lib it don t work too
