I've installed a firewire drive and rebuilt my kernel with the necessary options as indicated in LINT. The strange thing is that my firewire card and an unknown device are seen at boot but the actual disk (da2 on my system) is not seen. But if I unplug the firewire cable and then plug it back in, it forces a bus reset and then my drive is detected as da2. Any ideas on how to fix?
