Network probleme

2004-10-08 Thread madjid oudai
I'm new freeBSD (5.2.1)user, My network card (broadcom
57xx) is detected by os. I can ping locally, but not
to others hosts. The message viewed on the screen:
1- ping: sendto : No route to host
2- bge0: watchdog timeout --reseting

On boot, the second message is also wiewed.

thanks
madjid

I was seeing this, and it went away by upgrading to 5.3BETA.

My understanding is that many of the watchdog timeouts were bugs that
resulted from some of the new work being done to the network stack,
and most (if not all) are fixed in 5.3
