Right about the duplicate dcls ...  I unsub'd to ports a long
time back.  

...After several cups of coffee: methinks the ports is way 
out of date; mostof its conf file could be automated.

The port apparently doesn't build on whatever version of FreeBSD
you're using..it needs a patch to remove the duplicate declaration
from that header file.
